Game Of Thrones S1e8
I have to admit the casting job done in this series is amazing. Tywin- Great, that subtle stoic arrogance and deep longing for power is evident.

Jaime- Never heard of the actor before, but I think he has that capability of talent to do justice regarding how he becomes down the line! Arya- One of my favourite characters in the books, and I've been blown away by the young actress, exceptional. She has a career ahead of her. Sansa- Fantastic, the speech at the end was pretty much how I pictured it.
She looks mature for a 15 year old actress(in the books Sansa is described as being young but in a mature body) and she's acting like a teen heart throb to perfection, I believe she can pull off her character arc down the line. Ser Mormont(with Dany)- Great actor, awesome prescence and voice timber. Barriston the Bold(Selmy)- Again, well portrayed. He's pretty much a living legend in Westeros and the other kingdoms so hopefully next episode. We see him slaughter the city guards who try to chase him down under Joffreys orders Khal Drogo- The past two episodes where he's been given more lines has shown him adept and more then just a savage, as I feared non book readers would consider him after the first episode. Varys- Exactly how I pictured him.
Viserys- Arrogant, revenge driven, and ultimatly pathetic. The fact he was mental and hated by the viewers until his death, where a tiny bit of sympathy could be felt hints at the talent of work there. Can't wait until he starts to call Sansa 'little birdie'.he contains that deep dark soul, but with a small hint of humour and levity to counter balance his insanity in the little seen so far(the battle with his brother, the mountain, earlier was good) Joffrey- A little shit, so job well done. He has such a slappable demeaner it's actually quite disturbing. I wonder how that casting went? 'Well, you have that facve everyone just wants to piss on.so well done, you've got the part!'
He's more malfoy than malfoy ever was. Syrio- One of my favourite parts of the book, and I wasn't let down at all.
The First Sword of Braavos does not run.' Robb- I questioned him up until this episode, but he shone and came through with the added workload and pressure. Exactly how I imagined him to be, strong, bold, intelligent, but with a hint of a boy trying to live up to his fathers image and scared of failure. Tyrion- Obvious enough, his line to his father of how he'd like Robb Stark as a son was well delivered. I can go on, but I'll just state that the only people I still have a few questions around are: Jon- Don't know, something about him his off a bit.i know it's his first ever time on screen instead of stage, so i think he can improve, but I imagined someone more.hmm.confident lone rangerish? Littlefinger- Pretty much how I imagined ihm to look like, but the air of 'wit' escapes him a bit.still, its adequate. Catelyn- It's more physical then anything else.
She's being portrayed in a more sympathetic light then in the novels, and I like it.but I imagined her younger and to put it succintly.' She was always described as a babe hahah. But bar that stupid discretion, Michelle Fairley has been good. Cersei- Come on Lena, you can do better then this!
It's as if she's carved from stone sometimes, i always imagined Cersei more expressive, a women who knows her looks can charm and manipulate anybody. THis portrayal just seems so.cold? Seeing Tyrion mention that to his father after Robb annihilates Jaime's force and sarcastingly calling him green will be great! I knew they would keep that Hodor part in for the laughs, but i think my vision is still being impaired What do you fellow book readers think about Hodor so far? Ebook Filsafat Pendidikan Islam here. The way the actor seems to almost skip everytime he's on screen is a neat touch, show the gentle simple minded spirit within.though I imagined someone whose just ripped going by the book. Bran did say he would have been a knight if he wasnt mentally handicapped.
Kind of glad he's not saying Hodor repeatidly after second like in the books at times. Ricken sighting and finally more wolfs!! The wights blue eyes should have been evidenced more, but I think that scene was well done. Mario Kart Wii Ultimate Item Wheel Hack.
Arya killing the stableboy.did it seem to go by too quick for you? In the book she coldly kills him, but it was seen as an accident in the series. Program Cetak Pas Foto. i always thought that fear of killing but then going through with it in a detatched cold manner was part of her character. It seems they're going the 'she's reluncent but resigned' route. The witch doctor attending Drogo was perfectly cast as that pathetic desperate old woman clinging to life, but.major future spoiler. With clear sinister intentions. I almost screamed at the TV for Dany to say no to her help, I quite like this Drogo.
