So far its been on for nearly 7hrs and I'm at 70%. It is saying on the downloader that my comp is behind a firewall but I have done everything the website tells me to do to open all the ports etc and nothing has changed.

Here's the deal. See all these people posting here about how slow it is downloading? Multiply that number by oh.a half million and some and that's how many people are trying to access that exact file to download. Blizzard only has so much bandwidth for their servers and keeping live servers up comes before downloading the PTR.

Is it just me or is this patch taking forever to download for everyone else too. Its been going for 16 hours now and im only at 138mb of 821. I don't get the impression that anyone here is having a moan or complaining its Blizzard's fault the patch is downloading slowly. We're just commenting on our own experiences of the download currently. I'd never blame Blizz for slow download, I know its far more likely to be my comp (and my own lack of technological knowledge!). And besides, what else are we supposed to do whilst we wait for it to download?
