I would really like to add an image into the Sandcastle generated help file for a program. Visual Basic Studio 2007. I've followed the Sandcastle FAQ as closely as I can, and I still can't get the image to show up, although I have managed to get a little image placeholder to show up:. I'm fairly certain that the image path is correct, because when I had an incorrect path, there was an 'X' placeholder instead of this one. I've tried setting the BuildAction for the image to both Image (the default) and Content (recommended by the Sandcastle FAQ). Here's what the XML comment looks like: I feel like I've done everything I can to get this to work, and the image still won't show up.

Using the help file builder provides the following advantages: • The GUI interface is almost identical to the NDoc interface so anyone familiar with NDoc should be quite comfortable using it. • You can import several settings from an existing NDoc project to start a new Sandcastle Help File Builder project.

Windows Blue Key here. • You can import the assembly and documentation file information from a Visual Studio 2003/2005 solution or project file to start a new Sandcastle Help File Builder project. • The builder will automatically locate both Sandcastle and the HTML help compilers by looking in the system path and in the Program Files special folder on all fixed hard drives.
