The usual Geek news sites today have featured a blog post entitled, “” The post is interesting but that ain’t why I’ve posted this. Like many others I’ve been using the original XP pinball game in 64-bit Windows since Vista came out without a single issue. Whatever the 64-bit XP problem was must have been worked out by the time Vista rolled out.

Anywho, if you would like the game, I’ve posted a download for you. It comes straight from my XP install. Just unzip it and run PINBALL.EXE. Download (please link to this post and not the file) See: The game runs great in 64-bit Windows 8 (run it in full screen – F4).

Microsoft Windows Pinbal, or 3D Space Cadet Pinball was introduced in Microsoft Plus 95, it then became so popular that it was included in Microsoft Windows NT 4 by default. Unfortunately, Microsoft Pinball died a slow and painful death with the release of Windows Vista, or did it? Today I have succesfully ported over all of the files of Microsoft Pinball for Windows XP to Windows Vista And 7 and it is fully functional, below you can see the screenshot of pinball running in Windows 7 and the about box, this is not photoshoped, this is the real deal!
